Salting
Salting is a food preservation method in which uses salt to slow down the enzymatic reactions that occur within food products. Salt is applied to the food product (mostly fish or any sorts of meats) and this decreases and slows down the product of bacteria and fungi as they cannot survive in highly salty environments. Any living cell which lives in such an environment will become dehydrated or die.
